About the Role
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and verifying refrigeration system specifications, preparing technical submissions, and performing engineering calculations. The role requires extensive industry experience and strong technical communication skills.Responsibilities
- Develop and verify refrigeration system specifications ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare block flow diagrams and support design submissions.
- Incorporate comments, drawings, and P&ID updates into accurate engineering outputs.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations within the project scope.
- Organize and coordinate design deliverables according to LOD/LOd requirements.
- Utilize Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for design development.
- Review and interpret mechanical plans and related documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years experience in industrial refrigeration design.
- Expertise in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
